Momentum Experience

Will and Jada Smith, Duane and Tisha Martin-Campbell, Blair Underwood are investors in this company founded by entreprenuers Nia Hill and D'Angela Steed. A black owned distribution company. First project release is the "Seat Filler," which can be purchased now at all the major stores like Target, Walmart, etc.

Duane Martin was on the Steve Harvey show, this morning, saying there are black films being made, but are hard to get distribution for, so they thought it was about time to create such a company to get our films out there as well as to make films that show all sides of who we are. He said it's very rare that you see two lead african americans in romatic comedies. Like in Will Smith's "Hitch", they wouldn't have Will with a Halle Berry type because it costs too much, so they put him in with someone else. With them having this company, they can get these kinds of films out there. Steve Harvey was saying that so many times they keep us doing comedies and have ridiculous rules that a white person has to be in the cast somewhere, but in their comedies and sitcoms, a black person doesn't have to be in the cast if they don't want one.

Duane Martin said that the proceeds of those purchasing the "Seat Filler," Momentum Experience's first film, will go back into another project. So, please get out there and support this black owned company! Purchase the film, add yourself to their mailing list to get updates on what's going on and/or being released, etc. and spread the word people! Here are some articles on the "Momentum Experience."
